Welcome to our web site. The staff at Greenfield Middle School is excited to use this as a tool for parents and students in order to be informed of the events in our building.

I tell my staff as often as possible that:

“We have the most important job in the world, educating children.”

        That means you have entrusted us with the care and nurturing of your children. We are keenly aware of the responsibility of preparing and guiding your son or daughter for the future. We also are aware of how our success reflects upon this community and strive for our students to be great citizens and vital contributors to society and the workplace.

We tell our students that they need to have ownership of their education and that they (as students) have responsibilities. 

1.     You have all of your materials.

2.     You have completed your work/homework to the best of your ability.

3.     You are prepared to ask questions about the material.

4.     You are respectful at all times.

5.     You take an active roll in your education.

As teachers we have a responsibility to students.

1.     We will always keep the best interest of you at heart.

2.     We will maintain high but reasonable expectations.

3.     We will keep you informed of your progress.

4.     We will be firm but fair with all discipline.

5.     We will never lose sight of the fact that you will make mistakes and that it is a natural part of the learning process.  

In order to ensure the best education possible for your child, parents and the school need to be partners. We will gladly accept our share of the responsibility of the education of your children. We need your support and cooperation as we attempt to make your son/daughter’s time with us as productive and positive as possible.
