Good afternoon! We are looking forward to the first day of school next week! Students in grades 1-12 will begin on Thursday, August 18, while our preschool and kindergarten students will have a staggered start. If you have a child in preschool or kindergarten and are unsure of their schedule for starting school, please contact the school office where your child will attend.
Our open house schedule for August 16 is as follows: Buckskin and Rainsboro Elementary - 5:00-6:00, Greenfield Elementary - 5:30-6:30, and Greenfield Middle School - 6:00-7:00. On that same day, from 5:30 until 6:30 in the Greenfield Elementary Clinic, Adena Pediatrics will be providing immunizations to students in kindergarten, seventh grade, and twelfth grade whose parents would like to take advantage of the optional opportunity.
The annual Back to School Bash will be held tomorrow, August 13, behind the Greenfield Presbyterian Church beginning at 9:00AM. We appreciate the church organizing this event that provides an opportunity for our students to obtain backpacks and school supplies. We also appreciate those who donate items for the event.
This school year, we are utilizing a new call system. The information from this call will be posted on our Facebook page and sent to families via FinalForms. If you don't receive the phone call, please notify the office of the building where your child attends. For staff members, please notify your building secretary. It is important that phone numbers are kept up-to-date as we will utilize our call system as we have in the past to share important information throughout the school year.

Also, for your convenience, Adena Pediatrics will have staff on our main campus to provide vaccinations on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. The vaccinations will be available in the Greenfield Elementary Clinic between 5:30PM and 6:30PM. Please contact Adena Pediatrics with any questions about this optional opportunity.
Recently we held an orientation session for our new team members. The session was held in the McClain High School library, and everyone was able to enjoy a tour of the high school as well! We are so excited to welcome our new team members to the district! 💜💛
