Students in Mrs. Mongold's math classes practiced creating a "brain dump" for the upcoming AIR test. Students had the opportunity to improve their information by sharing and getting feedback from a partner.

Performance times are 2:30 and 7:30 on Saturday, April 22, in the McClain High School auditorium. The admission fee is $5.00.

We are honored to hold a fundraiser that has been organized by the McClain High School junior class. This is an opportunity for students, staff members, our school families, and even community members to support the family of Greenfield Middle School student, Jacob Stevens. All funds raised will support the family in paying medical and funeral expenses.

In order to be accepted into our program by June 1, all forms must be completed by May 15. Please contact us with any questions that you have.
Save the Dates: GMS and MHS Cheer Tryout information for the 23-24 school year. This is for current 6th graders and up. Please message Vanessa Penwell if you have any questions.
A meeting will be held at school for anyone interested. Please listen on the announcements for those meeting dates/times. You will receive a packet with tryout info.
***We are aware that there could be track and HS softball practices/games going on. If you participate in either of those sports, please let us know if a conflict arises. It will be treated the same as if in season with dual sports. You will need to attend the clinic when you can and get a video of required cheers for tryouts.

Students learned about Newton's Laws of Motion with an egg ramp demo in Mrs. Molloy's classes on Friday.
Mrs. Shrout's students practiced multiplying and dividing fractions, while enjoying the beautiful weather outside.
Sixth grade students in Mrs. Milnes' room use hexagonal tiles to make a thinking map of Mesopotamia. No group came up with the exact map design, but all could support their reasoning!
Mrs. Shrout's students are playing fraction Battleship. Other than ships being sunk with correct answers, we are floating happily in fractions.
Brylee Douglas recently completed 100% of the sixth grade topics in the Aleks math program. Congratulations, Brylee!

Students in Mrs. Mongold and Mrs. Eikenberry's class completed a volume egg hop today in math.
Today was a very special day at GMS. Our students and staff raised over $1,400 for Madalynn Wilson's medical expenses, one of our seventh graders who is fighting Leukemia. Thank you to everyone who donated in some fashion. A special thank you to Alanna Eikenberry and Vanessa Penwell for organizing today's events. Today is great reminder of how special the students, parents, and staff are of GMS. Thank you!
