Tech Help Desk students this year are hard at work making sure to keep the school as connected as possible. Students in this class repair and provision Chromebooks, take care of various technology needs for teachers, portions of the school website, and also special projects related to technology like laser engraving, clothing embroidery, and poster printing. With all of that, they get college credit for it!
All 2023 graduates will have a group picture taken this Friday at the start of school (7:40am). This is their senior group picture for the yearbook taken by Mike Seely. We will delay the Laurel Oaks bus until the photo is taken. Wear purple and gold!
September is Attendance Awareness Month. Good attendance has an impact on the success of students.
Some people think about 75% as average success, but check out the impact on students who have only a 75% attendance rate! Even the difference between 90% and 95% is staggering. If you have attendance concerns or questions, please contact us. We are happy to help!
Reminder: School will not be in session September 5-9 due to Labor Day and fair break. School will resume for students on Monday, September 12, 2022.

Be on the lookout for free and reduced lunch applications to be sent home. Universal free lunch is NOT in place this school year. Even if you haven’t qualified for free or reduced lunch before, it is worth taking the time to complete the form. There can be benefits in addition to free meals for our district and for families! Important first day of school information:
Students will meet in the following locations at the beginning of the day:
Freshmen - auditorium
Sophomores - new gym
Juniors - old gym
Seniors - cafeteria
Please go to these locations first thing in the morning. Like in the past, doors will unlock at 7:30am every morning. After a brief welcome at these designated meeting areas, students will be dismissed to their Academy teachers where class schedules will be handed out to each student.

Good afternoon! We are looking forward to the first day of school next week! Students in grades 1-12 will begin on Thursday, August 18, while our preschool and kindergarten students will have a staggered start. If you have a child in preschool or kindergarten and are unsure of their schedule for starting school, please contact the school office where your child will attend.
Our open house schedule for August 16 is as follows: Buckskin and Rainsboro Elementary - 5:00-6:00, Greenfield Elementary - 5:30-6:30, and Greenfield Middle School - 6:00-7:00. On that same day, from 5:30 until 6:30 in the Greenfield Elementary Clinic, Adena Pediatrics will be providing immunizations to students in kindergarten, seventh grade, and twelfth grade whose parents would like to take advantage of the optional opportunity.
The annual Back to School Bash will be held tomorrow, August 13, behind the Greenfield Presbyterian Church beginning at 9:00AM. We appreciate the church organizing this event that provides an opportunity for our students to obtain backpacks and school supplies. We also appreciate those who donate items for the event.
This school year, we are utilizing a new call system. The information from this call will be posted on our Facebook page and sent to families via FinalForms. If you don't receive the phone call, please notify the office of the building where your child attends. For staff members, please notify your building secretary. It is important that phone numbers are kept up-to-date as we will utilize our call system as we have in the past to share important information throughout the school year.
