We are excited to welcome Jordan Moberly to our team! She will be teaching 2nd Grade at Greenfield Elementary next school year. 😊 ➡️ Jordan graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2020 and from Northern Kentucky University this month. ➡️ A fun fact about Jordan is that she became engaged to her fiance the same day that she graduated from college! ➡️ Jordan is looking forward to having an opportunity to begin her teaching career. 😊 Welcome, Jordan! 💜💛 #legacyofleadership #mcclaintigers

GES Families, Get ready for an action-packed day of fun and games at the upcoming Super Games event tomorrow, May 21! Students in kindergarten through 5th grade will have a day of exciting outdoor activities. Preschool students will also partake in their own fun on the primary playground. To ensure your child's comfort and safety throughout the day, please remember to apply sunscreen before school; have them wear comfortable shoes (and socks) that are suitable for running and playing. Our PTO spends several hours ensuring this event is a day to remember for all students. If you see a PTO member, please thank them for all they do! Thanks to Brewers Creative Designs, water will be readily available to keep the kids hydrated and energized as they participate in the games. It's shaping up to be a day full of laughter, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories. We can't wait to see all of the kids having a blast and enjoying the day!

As you are getting ready for summer break, we would like to let you know that Greenfield Schools will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program again this year. This is a USDA funded program that provides lunch and a next day breakfast for all children 1-18 years of age. We will be passing out meals June 3rd through August 2nd (no meals July 4-5) at three locations: Greenfield Campus - 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM under the colonnades Buckskin Elementary School - 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM in the rear parking lot by the playground Rainsboro Elementary School- 12:45 PM- 1:15 PM in the parking lot We are requesting that you fill out the linked form, so that we can estimate the need for each stop more accurately. https://forms.gle/EDpjhGnfYxDugHCF9 We also need permission from each guardian who is able to pick up meals for your child, if your child will not be present. That is included on the form as well. You will only need to fill out one form per household and list all pick-up designees, as well as, students on the same form. Our second evening for kindergarten registration was a huge success at Buckskin Elementary! Registration continues today, April 18, at Rainsboro Elementary from 4:00 until 6:30. Will your child attend at Greenfield Elementary or Buckskin Elementary, but you missed registration? You can always register at Rainsboro Elementary this evening. Your child's information will then be shared with the building staff where your child will attend. ALL incoming kindergarten students must participate in a mandatory registration session. Families of students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade at Greenfield Elementary, Students will be taking the reading state test beginning tomorrow. They will finish the test on Thursday. Information from the April 5, 2024 4:00 p.m. all-call: Good afternoon! This is just a reminder that there will be no school on Monday, April 8 due to the solar eclipse. Have a nice weekend!

Information from the April 2, 2024 10:15 a.m. all-call: Good morning! Our district will be dismissing two hours early today, April 2, 2024. Morning preschool students will ride the bus home on the elementary route, which will begin at approximately 1:30. There will be no afternoon preschool. If a parent or guardian chooses to sign their child out early from school, it will be excused. We were happy to welcome our students back after spring break and provide breakfast and lunch to them. 😊 To ensure a safe trip home though, we are dismissing early. Based on the radar, we expect this will provide a good window of opportunity for safe travel. Note that if the weather is unsafe for travel, we will hold students who walk and ride a bus in our care. Should that need to occur, we will communicate the information to parents and guardians. Please make sure that you plan for your child to arrive home early today. Also, please be aware that it may be difficult to reach us by phone as early dismissals are always busy. Stay safe, everyone!
